Ended Official BYC DIY Contest #1 - Show us Your Project and Win!

If this has been covered, I apologize....I read the rule post, and didn't see if there was a limit to how many entries one person can have. I do have another "invention" that I think people using fermented food might find helpful, but I already entered a brooder setup.

Edited to add: Well, I made the page anyway. I figured even if having two entries wasn't allowed, maybe someone could use this idea anyway. Besides, I'm a rebel!

Pretty 'slick' Blooie!

I don't think there's a limit to how many entries you can have.

Can we enter more then one project page?
Yes.

Here is the thread I just started for the project I am working on.

It needs to be a 'members page', not just a 'thread', to be considered....the following quote explains how/where.

Here is the link to the Member Pages. There is a tab on the left that says, Add A Member Page. Click on that tab and you can make a page. There is no draft option, but you can stop any time and click on Save, and then come back later to edit and finish.

This is my submission. It cost me 2.24 to build. If someone else did it it would cost between 15 to 20 depending on your negotiation skills and the type of thermometer you purchuse.

I got the eggs on Saturday morning and I did a little research and was building the bator. I actually set the duck eggs that I picked up form the duck ponds Sat morning on Sunday morning. So We should see how well it works in about a week when i candle them. I am pretty sure that I will have 3 go. I don't think that the forth one will go. it has a crack that I fixed with some wax. That's okay because it is quite a bit larger then the others. It might be a goose egg, I hope not. I don't want a goose. My water in the bator is cool, I don't know if that is a problem but the temperatures are rock solid.
