WOW...some really great eggs here! This looks like a fun contest, I wish my birds were laying right now. Everybody is molting!

Keep up all the wonderful eggs everyone!

Grab a dozen at the store! Or maybe pick some eggs up at a farmer's market or neighbor?

Here is my first entry:



Plain eggshell, cotton floss, beads, sequins, and a generous amount of superglue. This was my first, and took about six hours.
Second entry:


Three coats of shellac, cotton thread, synthetic metal thread. My second, but it took a lot longer. (All that "cross-hatching" with a tiny thread...)

Well Done!! Very creative.

You can get egg shells by the dozen at the grocery store...of course, they're protective packaging for the eggs and you'd have to figure out what to do with those, lol.
