Sometimes functionality in itself IS beautiful

My hubby started building me a new walk-in coop yesterday and is at the lumber yard right now buying siding

I think he wants my chickens out of the barn and my ducks out of the basement

And building a coop now in New Hampshire? What is the weather like up there...cold, snow, more cold, more snow

Tell them tomorrow at two sounds good!!

I'm worried about the roof, I'm gonna keep snow off it and hope it makes it till spring when I can build a new one..... It's cracked in places where a tree fell on it, and the back wall got half ripped off when we were towing ot over to my place with a tractor, so that's weak too.

I'm pretty sure it will- I added reinforcement bracing and patched up the worst parts

yep 5 ducks, and 2 chickens
its cold, snowy, windy
yesterday we got 5"
