This is my very sweet and friendly (and total camera ham) Mottled Houdan, hatched in my hand May 2014. She enjoys pecking my glasses, trying to eat freckles (OW! THAT'S NOT A BUG DAGNABBIT!), and taking selfies. If I put my cell phone camera on "front" mode and show her herself, she will try and peck the "take picture" button. Not her image, the "take picture" button.




Yes, this really is my license plate. I see people point and laugh and take pics of it at red lights all the time. :-D

My girls have two lovely nest boxes that, despite my best efforts, they completely ignore in favour of squabbling over laying in the corner of their house.
