Aw, just when I was sure I had the answer!

It is easy to have the answer after the fact.

How bad do they float?

I float tested them.

They all floated. I cracked open two dated 8/8 & 8/19

I made a thread in the DIY/Self-Sufficiency forum about it just to keep track of it

My family eats very little eggs so no point spending $2-4 on a dozen store bought eggs

That’s understandable! I just think I would have been nervous if they floated they do look okay though!

We can get white eggs at aldi's for 69 cents...but brown eggs are often a dollar.. unless you buy the expensive "organic grass-fed" eggs lol but my flock gives me eggs for free so we almost never buy eggs

Oh wow I was just at our Aldi’s yesterday and the eggs were nowhere near that cheap!!

At Walmart their white eggs used to be 88 cents but now they’re like $1.10 or something.

Yup eggs are cheap here! And no tax on food either!

We live in a pretty expensive area so I think that’s why we don’t have tax on food here either though. Unless it’s like restaurants.
