Oh okay that makes sense! Our free range/organic type ones are like $5, $6, $7, $8The only time an egg was rotten when it floated was when it was the middle of summer and I didn’t collect the eggs on time or I think I found a hidden nest or something
Our cheap eggs are close to $2 but the organic and fancy ones are around $4 or more. I rarely look at the price since I don’t buy eggs.

I have eaten or cooked with eggs that are at least 3 months old. They make really easy to peel hard boiled eggs.
