In my over 10 years of keeping chickens, I've only had two dogs kill (one chicken each). They weren't strays, and it was more so on me for them getting killed. Not keeping the chickens in the coop and leaving them in a fence, and not paying attention to them when they had flown out of the chain link fence...
Since I haven't had any other predators kill, I have had attempted hawk attacks. They've gotten close and I believe made wounds on two of my hens before. They have and will hang around. So they are the #1 predator I worry about.

Well, tonight there were 4 racoons in the tree above the coops! I've hardly seen them around.

We’re really lucky that the (not domesticated anyway) predators here always have enough voles to eat.

Voles are easy pickings here too. It's actually a problem because we now have non-native stoats predating the sub-species of vole that's only found in this archipelago, as well as the nests of rare and endangered ground-nesting birds. Does mean most predators are much less likely to try and go for a chicken though.

I've had a problem with a black bear who thought my chicken coop was a walk thru KFC (my big stock hens actually came from KY,I live in WV) and a bobcat who missed me by less than 2 foot to get my polish hen Ms.Jangles very recently. So BOBCATS are at the top of my poop list.
