This is a judged contest and while any coop in the winter will qualify, your chances to win are definitely better if there is something wintery about the image. Whether that's snow, bare trees in the background, icy decorations, etc. You want it to feel wintery.

The building in the background with the solar panels is our dirt floored "garage" that has wood storage, our forge, where we butcher big stuff, tools, etc.

Jan 27:
2 of the bantams (Wheaton Ameraucana) peeking out and drinking from the icy water tub.. I changed it out for fresh right after the photo.

We live in a 245 year old house in New Hampshire, (USA) and have antiques. We did up our coop to blend with the house and it has 'leaded diamond pane windows', iron hinges, and the lantern is punched tin. LOL, this is a snowstorm shot near Christmas!
