You got that right! I stayed up late and finally couldn't take it anymore. Then I woke back up at 6 and shot downstairs. I can tell I am going to stress over this the 3 days I have to work this week. Thank goodness my lockdown in wednesday night and I will be home from that point on through the hatch. I DONT WANT TO GO TO WORK!!!!

charmedbychickens: Thanks for bringing up which day to count from. I'm under the impression that day 1 is counted as 1 day. Am sitting here trying to recall who told me that (early this year) or where I read it; will post if it all comes back to me or will just admit delirium right now. I'll get back on track with lockdown on the 21st; darn, I'm all ready & pumped for tonight (tomorrow will have to do).

kathyinmo: Thanks for your support also. Have enjoyed hearing about your staggered hatches.

I do look forward to getting normal sleep & not turning eggs very late at night which works best with my work schedule; but no need to rush the little rascals. Lockdown 21st. Thanks gals for alerting me, I needed that!

POSTED LATER: day 1 is 1 day if incubator started in the a.m. & day 2 is 1 day if incubator started in the p.m.

charmedbychickens & kathyinmo: I found it in writing & posted #69 & #70 below for the website, how do you interpret it? I know, I know, I can't believe everything I read.... "if placed in the p.m. that day would be Day 0, the next day would be Day 1"; so, right my 18th day would be Dec. 21st. & hatch should be a nice treat for Christmas Eve on Dec. 24th. OK, I'm alright now. Thanks again for pointing it out. Best wishes to all.

---69. How do I count the days?

---Count the days of incubation from the first day the eggs are placed in the incubator. If placed in the a.m. that day would ----be Day 1; if placed in the p.m. that day would be Day 0, the next day would be Day 1.

---70. When do I stop turning the eggs?

---Stop turning the eggs on Day 18.

Is it "T" yet?

Tannenbaum (German word meaning fir tree)
Tannen (for short)
Turnin' (for "when do I get to stop turnin' these eggs before Christmas." Ha!)

At day 15. Should I take them off the rocker? I've had luck with either day 5 and day 17 taking them off the turner. What day do you all take them off?
