The big problem is that I'm not sure where I should add on all the extra explore areas. I really need to reorganize all the areas...

OK, well, that's the first step! After reorganizing the areas, seeing as that was already on your list, you can have a think about whether you're ready to get GC out of beta.

But honestly, there are plenty of wonderful people on BYC that would want to be an admin, especially for you Kooshie!
And I agree with Ondra, it's not too messy. Draw out a map on a piece of paper:

Galaxy
/ \\
The Marsh Supply Central
/ / \\
Throne room The marsh Back to the Galaxy

Except, however you want to organise it.
