No, she was quite pretty, all of her was grey, so the grey head feathers went along too. She took after Stirlin, while Charmaine was bluer like TOrrent. (they're practically twins in other ways though)

I've never heard of colours skipping generations, only patterns.

Only a slight tinge of puke yellow (her grandmother's were SERIOUS puke yellow) but mostly grey.
