I got two little cutie runner ducks today, I have only had them for a few hours.

Zeke (all black and Gabby with the yellow) I actually have no idea what gender they are
However Gabby has already got me trained. I set up their area which they are also sharing with two new chicks.
they get all cuddled and sleep, ya know after I gave them all snuggles and talks :)

I leave the room, and I hear peep peep, ya know what I mean. I go in and there is Gabby standing straight up peeping away, I walk over and sit down with them and boop she falls back to sleep, and this happened 3 more times.

Well the last time I am downstairs and here it for awhile and say OK I don't mind giving some love, and there is Gabby out of her container peeping away, she comes over to me I hold her she runs up my shoulder and rest on my neck.

She is always popping her head up looking around.

I thought i was safe having a container 9 inches high for now because I thought ducks wouldn't try to get out of them the first week or so. wronggg.

I know they will all eventually jump in and out of it, but they are in my office with me and i work from home so I will be here with them, It's how I raised my other chicks and they are the sweetest, but she is very keen on everything I am doing already.. Zeke is like Meh. I am comfy here under the heat lamp.
is this normal duck behavior so young?

Thanks

they are so cute im thinking of getting some ducks but not sure about the mess yet but i dont think i can pass the little cuties

How old are they?
My ducklings bonded with one another since they are in a building outside and only see me about 2 hours a day. But, I have read other posts whose ducklings behave this way.

Sounds normal to me. They probably imprinted on you and thus of course want to be with you all the time.

Pretty sure yellow one is a rouen!! Looks like mine!
