the pre-K has hatched 32 chicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have 3 more eggs; one was hatching today and the other two we dont
think they'll hatch...

I CANNOT repeat and understand CANNOT take 33 chicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
first of all; I DO NOT have coop room...secondly; the run will be waY TOO SMALL

now..that being said; my SIL/BIL I can give some to..

the one guy who said he'd take a couple has said now he really doesnt want them and he'd have only taken
them IF they couldnt find homes for them...

uhh.... really 33??????????????????????

head spinnin....feelin' faint....
this is NOT happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you laughin' at my pain???

Have you considered sending a note home with parents to see if any of them are equipped to take chicks? It's good for kids to learn about birth, but it's also good for them to learn that things grow up and change, too.

Wouldn't it be great if the school could have its own large coop with lots of chickens? Kids could learn valuable life lessons tending to the chickens and have the eggs they raise for breakfast at school. The school could even integrate a veterinary class for older kids.

Where in central IL are you? I live by Peoria and could take a couple/few/or 10. lol
