oh good gravy!! 33 chicks

thats cool i have 32 right now so i cant get any well and i live in ohio so i dont think you would drive them here

Contact your county's Cooperative Extension office, see if they have any 4-Hers who want chicks. They can send out a mass email to all those who have interest in chickens as well. And Who knows- they could have had someone call to see if they knew where to get chicks. Google your county name, state + the word "extension". It should direct you there. You could also put an add in the local cheapie "pennysaver" publication. Every town has one- where people advertise their yard sales, truck caps, and old boat motors for sale. They generally have a section for livestock. A few old timeys still read those. Maybe try craig's list if that doesn't work? Good luck!

Do you know what type of chicks they are? I would hate to send meat birds home with someone thinking they are getting family pets. Put up an ad on craigslist for them.

I hope you're joking. These feral chickens and other domestic animals released into the wild can cause severe damage to the ecosystems they come to inhabit.

What would it cost to get them to Florida? I have room. I will pay for it if it is not a crazy amount.
