Oh happy day! I just payed for my first hatching eggs!

Oh so happy! I am getting a dozen silkie eggs from one BYC'er and another dozen of silkie/showgirl eggs from another BYC'er! I just got finished paying for them.


I am SO excited. I can't wait.

These will be officially my first chickens. All the other chickens we have had were "the family's" and these guys are all mine! Hehe. I am just so happy!


Its so exciting!

Sorry there are so many exclamation points...I guess I am just to happy. I have been jumping around the house all day, and my parents are starting to think their 16 year old daughter is a little off her rocker, haha.

Now I need to start praying the eggs travel here safely and that I have a really good hatch!

It is addictive! I saw all the cute pictures of everyone elses babies, and I decided I must have some!

Besides, it was about time to have some chickens here. There haven't been any on this property for about 2 years.
