so i have a screen over my brooder now but i love this picture and i thought you would all appreciate it

i walked away from the brooder for about 5 minutes to refill the chicks' water and this is what i came back to:
they were two weeks old yesterday so i'm definitely going to keep an eye on them from now on!

thanks i helped her down after but i couldn't resist taking a picture first! she wouldn't come down on her own although i was tempted to make her to teach her not to jump on things...

I had a few of my two week old chicks doing that as well! They'd perch on the box, & one actually got out and wandered around! Adorable. [:

I have some that are going to be 2 weeks this week and yesterday we could see one trying to fly out. I don't have a lid yet so I guess I better get to making them one!! Sounds like I am going to have some escapees real soon!!!!

it was so funny! i walked away for five minutes and everyone tries to escape!... this morning i saw another chick on top of the waterer... not so bad considering how high the other one got but its pretty funny now she just sits up there!
