I'm having the same problem and it's distracting while I'm trying to read posts. I don't mind ads with pictures of fuzzy chicks and ducklings, though.

Download Google Chrome and the ad on application Ad Blocker and you can supposedly get rid of the ads even if your not a GFM or PPM.
