I have to travel and left my chicks in the care of DH

Worried, I called from the airport and asked how they were doing. DH: "I am their god -- I have food!"

One of the waterers broke so he's probably going to pick one up when he goes to town

and he's getting me so blocks to put the waterers on. For a guy who doesn't like birds, he's sure being wonderful. Shhhh! Don't tell him I said that!

My husband is the same way. So casual about them but he always reminds me when we haven't visited them in the evenings!
