OH. I feel SOOO bad!!!!!

sorry not tring to hyjack you thread just a quick question for anyone.

Wait so you cant put them big side down? im new to this all

is it ok if they are side ways??
 
You can lay them on their side, the big end should be slightly up. If you want to set them vertical,-you would need an egg turn or something- you must put them narrow side down. when you flip them when they are vertical tilt them slightly to the right or left each time. this is what i did and mine hatched.

The rounded end is where the air sack sits. If you invert the egg during incubation, you run the risk of the air sack pushing its way through the chicken embryo and killing it as it pushes upwards toward the pointed end (where there is less room for the air sack, which can cause other issues).
