Oh I hope

So for the last few days, my Production Red pullet named Rose has been very very interested in the nesting boxes. Also she has always been the type of girl whom hated to be touched and didnt trust anyone, With that being said, today i stood outside just watching them and out of no where she flew up and landed on my shoulder and sat there for about 5 minutes. About an hour later i went out again just to watch them and she flew up again... Any guesses on when she will start laying? or why she is acting like this? She is 16 weeks old
