How I love it so. Not sure where you are but it's 4am here. Not even the puppy can keep up with this one, but he usually sleeps 18 hours a day (lucky little dude). At least now I know what all the animals do at night. If I don't get any sleep soon I may have to continue harassing poor unexpecting BYC'ers.

Wow, there must be something in the air. It is now 6:23 here, however, I've been awake since 3:30. About 4:15 I thought to myself, "I should go ahead and get up and see what's up on BYC" But nooooo, I decided to just toss and turn and suffer. Maybe tonight will be better!

It appears I was way ahead of you! I did sleep from 8 to 10 this morning, after cleaning the barn, of course.

Drink a glass of orange juice. It will bring your blood sugar up. I find that sometimes it helps. Also, if you take your diabetes medicine too late in the day, you may find yourself up all night. Watch your blood sugar levels.

You think it's possible I'm diabetic? I thought I was pretty healthy but I did just turn the big 4 0 On that day I noticed a beer gut, hair loss, allergies, the list goes on....

One of the first indications of diabetes is loss of hair on the lower legs. Unquenchable thirst and frequent urination is another symptom. Dry skin also. Good luck.

Who in their right mind is up at this hour? It apears the chooks and budgies are alot smarter than the horses, kitties, dog, and me.

Well, I guess if one cannot sleep, there is always the eternal 24 hour a day internet.
