Coyote got my favorite cochin hen yesterday. Middle of the day. 9mm strapped to my hip and my rem 7mm08 straped to the tractor. Lets dance chicken breath.

Sorry about the loss, coyotes really suck. We had a hunter trap 32 of them on our land one winter. 32! Where did they all come from?!

I really luved that little chicken. It was a rust color with real nice bars. Always would wander around by itself away from the rest. Guess she payed for being independent. I started with 26 and now down to 18. Ive eleliminated 1 fox and 5 coyotes since april. I know the yotes and fox are doing what only comes natural but there are hundreds of chipmonks and rabbits for them. They are being lazy and taking the easy stuff. Welp my job (since I had to get rid of my big speck sussex roo) is to protect them. And protect them I will. Look out yotes its ONNNNNNNNNNNN! lol
