I'm afraid I'm going to act the same way!!! And I had chickens before, but it's been a long time ago and I'm already getting antsy waiting for my 6 wks. old chicks to grow up and lay their first egg. Go on and holler!

Hooray for you !!! I still can't wait to check the nest box when I get home and mine have been laying for a month, BUT there is still nothing that compares to that FIRST egg.
