I love your story!!! I am such a worrier..... I stress all the time they are in the incubator.... I just bought a new Suro incubator and the digital reading has been right on...I can 't be satisfied with that.... Now I put a "Flukers" hygrometer in there and the humidity is registering different... Which one is correct? Should I try to add more water?... stress stress stress.....

Your story makes me realize how silly I am......Good for you... It made me so happy to hear about your hatch... Please send us pictures.

My "broody hen" sat 6 eggs. ONLY 1 hatched. I checked the eggs a few days later. One had died in the shell. The others were apparently never fertile.

YOU did BETTER than my hen. (BOTH of you were "beginners"...so it wasn't "beginner's luck" !)

GOOD for you!

I tried to incubate 40 eggs in a homemade incubator. Got Zero.

Will try again, of course.

Ha-Ha! Good Fun, I think!

and....IF all goes well..you get chickens!
