I had a similar incident with mine. I went away for a few days. Before hand, sat him down telling him all about how the humidity must not exceed 50 or the temperature 102, then what to do if either of those things did happen.
He said "What if the humidity drops too low"? I knew it wouldnt, unless he took ages turning the eggs, as the water had only just run out. So I said "Don't worry about the humidity" He took that single comment completely the wrong way, forgot everything else I had said.
On my return both water trays were full and the humidity was at 66.. He said it had gone higher too! When I let rip at him all he had to say was... "But you said not to worry about the humidity, and it went under 50, so I just thought i'd top it up a bit"
That's the last time he goes anywhere near my eggs! I know out of 9 I have 4 left.. and hopefully more.
Have anymore started rocking yet? Hopefully after they warm up a bit all will continue as normal. Thank goodness you realised when you did!!
