Another button hatched - shell just broke cleanly right in half!

Lots more are rocking... at least 8. Started with 24 (12 button 12 coturnix), and three have hatched. One pipped but died in shell yesterday. So, 20 to go.

Did I mention my other incubators are full?

I set 48 coturnix this afternoon, adding them to my already-cooking duck (LOL) and 10 chicken eggs.

i have a huge pip & its a EE & peeping like crazy i also have one that is either a barred rock or bo with a small pip & 1 with a crack!!!guess my spike of 102 wasnt high for long!! im so excited

gonna get pics as soon as camera is charged i put extra batts in the charger just incase i need em lol

I figured out why my bator was being wacky but I can't do much about it until my hatch ends (lockdown). Temp is stable around 99.7. My husband sympathizes and says we will have the thermostat working more reliably and the new bator setup before next year. By next year though I will probably have a broody cuckoo maran.

No activity yet with my eggs but they have been a little cold here and there so if they hatch at all it will probably be a little late if not right on time.
