Three out now, with two more pipped and several more rocking. Off to bed in a bit, as soon as I win this bid on eBay for serama eggs (SQUEEEE!). I will wake up every few hours again tonight to make sure all is well for the quail.

what is the dark brown egg & the other isnt white but very light brown almost like a cream ...the chickens i got them from are barred rock & the other is a buff orp...& i know my green ones are EE...they are hatchery birds & the guy i got the eggs from said they were ameracunna sp?

HI Andrea, I enjoyed your hatch pics. congratulations! I have 8 eggs under a broody due to hatch on Wednesday. If you're asking about which eggs are which - the brown eggs are your Barred Rocks and the cream eggs are your Buff Orps.
