Oh my goodness the size

I've never seen such a big egg come out of my chickens. Kind of looks like an ostrich egg

Oh, man. I'm jealous. I got my first egg on August 18th. Currently getting 10-12 per day. So far I've gotten a total of TWO that were commercial egg size. Not sure what's up.

Maybe the size has to do with the older the chicken gets. Not sure really. What in the world do you do with that many eggs

Supposedly they do get bigger. I just figured that one month in, I'd be seeing more "normal" sized eggs. Next door neighbors are my in-laws, wife and I eat our fair share, our kid eats a few... plus other neighbors, folks at work, etc. Not to mention when they are tiny, they don't go all that far food-wise! ;-)
