I had just moved my 6 week olds outside this past Monday into their 'brooder' cage. It is a flight cage for parakeets or cockatiels, but any how, I lay it down and cover 3 sides and top with a tarp for shade and shelter. Well it has been abnormally hot lately, so when it rained last night I thought "I hope it cools down a bit" Well today it is quite chilly outside and one of my babies got wet and is not doing well at all! I have her wrapped in a dish towel and under a heat lamp in my bedroom. Everyone else out there is just fine!
