This is why I’ll never hatch again ... there are so many roosters already .

If a hatch goes awry you end up with high percentage of cockerels. My Easter hatch was poor ending with seven cockerels and two pullets.

In less than ideal hatching conditions the strongest hatch. Cockerels are usually larger, stronger and more vigorous than pullets right from the get go.
