Oh no! Chicks arrived early!!! Pics...

Well, the PO called at 7am and they had arrived! They were supposed to ship today, not arrive. Had brooder ready but no food. Brought them home and gave them water and heat and ran out and bought chick starter. Ordered 25, got 27 and all are healthy and happy. The Partridge rocks are little spitfires. Here are the Salmon Faverolles and Partridge Rocks. Yippee....life is good....

Awesome! I'm partial to the Rock breed anyway. I might have to buy a few of those little guys this year!

It's much better that chicks arrive early rather than late! You can always keep them in their shipping box for a few hours until you are ready to set them up in their brooder.

Same thing happened to us. Supposed to arrive today and I got a call Saturday. Mine were all very healthy and we haven't had a single pasty or death.
