Oh no help! Is the hatch lost?

So we finally had a chick hatch and it wasn't moving and my daughter grabbed the door and opened the incubator. She's 5 and it wasn't her fault but mine.

The chick died it wasn't fully developed, I tried to save it by keeping it warm and giving it time to absorb the yolk, but it didn't help.
