Seal the crack with a small run of super glue. It`s worked before.

seal it and set the new one- you may have one late hatch but you'll have twice the odds of a chick.....

I say 3 and 4 too!

I have found that when the eggs set for a day the cracks really come out! I have some that are due to hatch tomorrow and on day 12 I found that my BLRW egg had a huge crack in it! I just kept thinking how did I miss this? I have since been letting all of my eggs set a day. I found 2 more eggs with just the slightest cracks in them. (I need to have a talk with my hens

they need to lay IN the nesting boxes not on the ground)
