OH NO! Incubator heat element stopped

Have a Yescom 56 egg incubator and this morning it quit heating. I have to buy another incubator. How long can eggs survive without 100 degree temperature? On day 8 with 36 bobwhite eggs. Only run this dang thing for less than 20 days, Gish!

my concern is woke me up at 3am with temp alarm and determined that element/s quit heating. Will be close 5-6 pm tonight before get New one home. Temp staying around 17.4c whatever temp that is. 38c is 100 degrees I understand.

I think if you cover the incubator with a blanket or something to keep the heat from escaping and get the eggs swapped into a new incubator soon they might be ok. As the previous poster said, hens sometimes leave the nest for hours and still have a successful hatch. It will probably delay the hatch day though, might go a bit longer than previously expected.

Got the new incubator “farm innovators model 4250” little giant I think. Hope they survived.
