A little tangy for my tastes!!! I know my mom always said they will tear a garden to shreds in nothing flat, because they love the greens.

After seeing this post yesterday I decided to put the 2 flats of marigolds inside the veggie garden that's surrounded by chicken proof fence. The girls were lined up watching me just drooling. I threw them one flower that had been broken off and it was a mad scramble to get it.

Well, if they were eating the flowers, at least you'll end up with nice bright yolks! They feed chickens marigold petals in Mexico to get more colorful eggs

I'm surprised to hear that peoples ducks are destroying gardens. Mine were in the garden all the time and ate ALL the slugs, snails, and sow bugs but left the plants alone. Well, except the expensive water lily, that got pulled out every day
