Oh no, not this again! Help sexing an EE chick

Here's my EE pullet at 5 weeks old. Quite a few people guessed her to be a roo at this age as well. She was very large and had a large comb as a small chick, but grew up to lay green eggs. (Unfortunately, she died unexpectedly at 37 weeks.)

Barred rocks are usually sexed before you buy them. I think orpingtons also, not sure. My blue orpington seems to be a hen, though. I don't know anything about Isa Brn. The araucanas (usually easter eggers, unless from a breeder) are harder to sex. My roo is an EE, though, and he developed early. Crowed at under 2 months *shrug*

Isa Browns are basically Red Sex-links.

If you think Princess is cute now, look at this little pic from week 2 1/2.

We'll be sad to see Princess go. I am going to give it a few more weeks and cross my fingers but I realize it's doesn't look good. I have another adoreable little white EE who's comb I'll be watching very closely now.

I haven't seen a photo of a grey EE before and was surprised when we opened out MPC box in the mail and saw a little fuzzy greyish body. Most of them seem to have drk brown or chipmunk type coloring in the beginning. Princess' wing are a beautiful cream color with light orange accents. Also you can see the coloring on Princess' back. If anybody in the Eastern PA/NJ area is looking for an EE cockrel look no further
