OH NO SAY IT AINT SO!!!!

It is day 20. When I got up this morning i checke the bator before I went to work and there was an egg that had a chip in it. Before my wife left ther were at least two more. So i had my dad go over to my house to check on progress and he saw nothing. My concern is that he say he opened it to see. He knows nothing about incubation so he did not know to leave the top on. Do you guys htink this will hurt or are thing ok?

There is a hole in 5 or 6 eggs. The first on started this morning. Nothing since. I here some peeping in there. You think the gonna make it?

They can take a long time after they make a pip to zip. Just give them time and sit on your hands.

Well guess what! I got up this morning and I had 6 lil babies. SILKIES! They came through for me. There are 5 more eggs and one is pipping so there should be more. Thanks for all the advice. I will post pics soon.
