OH NO!! Son took Belles egg...

DS took Belles egg this morning thinking she just laid it...I forgot to tell him when he went to open the coop this morning that I gave her egg back to her yesterday. It sat outside on a sack since about 9:00 this morning(we're late risers on the weekend)...I just now put it back under her, do you all think it will be okay? I hope so.

You can only hope. Just cross your fingers and sweat it out. Probably it will hatch.

I have an OEG hen that is brooding. I have 4 of her eggs in the bator right now that were ice cold when I found them. My dutch bantam had been trying to lay eggs with her, and the eggs had been kicked out in the scuffle. There are 2 or 3 that are for sure still wiggling, and with the temps like they have been these last few nights, I'm sure they got pretty cold.
