At 12.01 Time Warner will pull all Nick and MTV channels, 18 in all. I dont care so much about MTV , but for crying out loud Nickelodeon and Noggin? My kids love Spongebob, Dora and Diego. All we are going to have left is Disney and Toon Disney. Leave the kids channels and dump MTV, nobody watches it anymore.

I thought that was just on one satelite provider.

I saw the little notice, (and it was confusing) but what I got out of it was one certain satelite provider was going to stop having those channels, but I think Dish Network and the like are still having them.

I may be wrong, though.

Two words:

Dish Network

The cable companies days are limited. AT&T and other phone companies
also offer cable TV over the phone line. It's better and cheaper.

The stories are still being posted:

Basically, it's VIACOM who owns all those channels, and they're demanding that Time-Warner pay them more money to carry the channels...and Time-Warner is balking. Viacom is threatening to cut them off at midnight, and so far, Time-Warner's calling their bluff. Should be interesting to see who blinks first.

Since I live in the boonies where no cable company would traditionally go, I've had DirecTV for years now.
