I have about 2 dozen eggs in my incubator, and received an Easter chick this morning!

The only thing is, none of the other eggs have even pipped yet, and I don't know if I should take the one chick out and put it in a brooder. Or should I wait another 24 hours to see if any others hatch? HELP!

Let the chick dry, then move him to the brooder setup. If the other eggs are going to hatch soon, the baby chick in the bator shouldn't affect them.

Leave the chick in there. IT might start the others to pip, donot take it out. It won't hurt staying in there 24 hours or so.

Do NOT open the bator.. It's difficult to see a lonely chick in there while waiting for other chicks to hatch but they can go 3 days (72 hours) without food and water.. Please give it a day or two and allow the others to hatch out!

OK I'll wait a few days. Thank you everyone! I was worried it would get hungry. Thanks for letting me know it will be OK!

Happy Easter!
