Just to follow up in case others have questions on this topic....
Since my last post my hen pretty much had returned to normal behavior fairly quickly, and yesterday she started laying again...Yippeeee! So she quit laying for 11 days, then started back. Seems to be back to her highly productive self, she laid yesterday and again today. (she had been averaging about 6 eggs/week before she went broody).
