Oh oh...I think she's a he!

I am new and have to say i love all the info that is shared -- this in particular is very helpful to me.
We just tried our fist hatch and well - let'z just say we are gathering eggs for another hatch.
Our rooster could careless about us, but loves his 7 ladies -- took on two dogs that got into the pen on 4th of july-- it was a scary few days, but early one morning we heard a small crow and we knew we were back in business!!

Great info Donrae...I'm glad I didn't have time to coddle this one as a chick...and given what I've heard so far things are progressing as they should. So far he stays out of my way and respects the older girls. He picks on one in his flock...a female Amaracauna with a scissor beak

He must know she's different. I'll be watching that closely because Shs a real sweetie that I do spoil.
