I think my Mille de Fleur, Milcy, is going broody. I was suspicious yesterday, but tonight everyone is roosted but her. I think she's only setting 2 or 3 eggs, can I put more under her? I took the guinea eggs away from her, I heard they'll leave the guinea eggs when the chicks hatch?

Sorry for running on, I'm quite excited........can I add eggs????

Well Congratulations to you! Someone will tell you if you can add more eggs, I'm not sure. Best of luck.

What happens if a couple hatch but then the other needs more time? Will she stay with it? Should I put up a partition to keep the guineas away from her?

Someone on the forum really wanted fertile Guinea eggs to hatch for a friend.

Just thought I would mention it.

My darn Guineas used to lay in the coop but are now hiding their eggs. We cleaned out the coop and I guess they did not like it.
