2 broodies aren't so bad... until they sit in the same box in 100+ weather and require some tricky fan placement to cool them both then the other chickens want to lay their eggs in the box so there are 3 hens in a regular square foot nest box and then all the eggs get sat on when you were only planning on hatching 4 but now you have to wait until midnight every night to candle them and find the big X that you put to make sure you know which ones were originally trying to hatch but the X wore off from being under a chicken butt for a couple of weeks

Ok I fell a bit better now about broody hens
