Oh what fun!

[My First Chick]

I have been afraid of chickens from a young age. My grandson's classes had an incubator and he asked if he could get two chicks. I thought, why not, what can a chick do to me. I got two Isa Browns. One hen and one rooster. They are beautiful. Five weeks ago I got three more chicks. My hen has taken them as her own! I am just learning as I go.

Sounds like your not afraid any more of chickens. I am glad the hen took to the chicks and is fostering them. Soon you will be adding on to that coop and incubating your own chicks. That's called chicken math, oh yeah you already seen that work now haven't you. Two chicks become 5 then in no time there 8 and soon after that its 15. That's how much we all love math and chickens.
