oh yeah silkies on the way any advice

i ordered 10 show quality silkies from indigo egg. they are on the way and i cant wait. the silkies on her website looked soo cool. i finally convinced my parents to let me spend alot of money on birds and they are on the way. so what should i prepare for and when i start breeding my new flock how is the best way to pair them. i ordered 2 whites and 8 blues so how many generations can i breed before i have to add to my flock so it isnt inbreeding and what is culling?

Enjoy your birds

Culling is simply removing a bird from your breeding flock. You could add it to your layer flock or find it a new home. Some people cull by killing the bird, but that is not the only way people cull.

Breed your whites together, not to your blues. Separate your blues into smaller groups unless you have only one male.
