I've never been to a poultry show so I don't know what to expect. I do not currently have anything to show (yet) and was wondering if any of you have ever gone what's it like. Obviously it's all about showing but will there be chickens and other fowl for sale? Are there vendors there selling chicken supplies, feed etc? I've only been to rabbit shows and I am assuming a poultry/fowl one is very similar.

Ohio Nationals will spoil you for just about any other show.

Last year 3-4 vendors there selling supplies. There is also someone who sells wooden carrying boxes. My sis loaded up last year on those--the price was right!

Tons of birds being shown. Big Junior show. Big sale area. Friendliest show I've been to. The Breeders were willing to sell to someone to get them started. Always better to get in touch with them before the show though.

I think there was one feed vendor, but there's feed supplied by the show for the birds if you don't want to haul your own.

We had a good time and came back with a car full of birds!

We are actually showing birds there this year. Can't wait. We should have a BYC meet and greet for all the members that go.

It sounds wonderful. I better start saving up for it! LOL
Do they have other types of fowl for sale too? I would love to get some ducks as well as chickens!
