I'm not Neil, but he said "Non Exhibitors are not allowed to bring poultry into the show hall or onto the fairgrounds."
If you want to sell, you need to be an exhibitor.
Exactly.
Enter a bird then bring it or not. Your name will be on the list that "officialdom" may need to review if there are any reportable disease issues that arise in flocks that were at the show.
Friday, November 11, 9:00AM to 10:00PM for cooping in.
Saturday November 12, The Exhibition Hall will open at 7:00AM. Judging begins 9:00 AM, Building closes for the day at 6:00PM
Sunday November 13, Exhibition Hall will open at 7:00AM Champions of the show will be awarded, 10:30AM approximate time of dismissal.
There are buyers coming thru the door with the exhibitors as soon as it opens. Friday is like the "black Friday" of poultrydom. There are buyers waiting in the aisles to see what birds go into the sale cages. Get there early if you can. Of course the earlier the better on Saturday.
Sunday - a nice ending to the show if you stayed in town overnight or live nearby. If you have to make much of a trip for just this day you should consider carefully if it is worth while.
yea saturday is usually when i get there.
early like 1 hour after they doors open about 8.
but the past 4 years ive gone theres already hundreds of people in there.
so this weekend im getting there when the doors open right at seven to beat or atleast try to.
hey neil, how do i enter a bird to show?
as in, what are the steps of doing this.
ive been wanting to do this for the past 5 years but never got around to it
may consider it next year...2012

Just send an e mail to the Secretary sometime after this year's show and ask to be put on the list. ohionational.org You will get the information in time to enter next year. Any questions - just ask. I will be on site Friday morning until the show is torn down and the building swept on Sunday. I will not be hard to locate at the show if you have any questions I can answer.
