A fellow Michigan person asked this with no response, but If we are not showing but are interested in purchasing birds can we do it on Friday or do we have to wait until Saturday? Also for us first timers, are the isles marked for breeds or will it take me half the day to find what I looking for?

You can buy Friday on. Birds pruchased from the sales pens can go as soon as you're settled with the seller.

If the bird you buy is in the show, the bird needs to stay in the coop until the birds are released Sunday.

The show aisles are grouped by class, and some breeds are marked. The sale area is kind of organized by seller--it's really a free-for-all.
