Makes me tired just looking at it! I have never incubated so my chicks are always under a hen at this point. Less stressful for me haha

As soon as ours are old enough to be broody we 100% will be using broodies instead whenever possible! Our oldests JUST started laying their first eggs. It'd help me not stare at the incubator 24/7.

WELL it seems Peregrine's chirping didn't go unheard!

We have two more external pippers! Hurry-cane and Chive are joining the early-pip crew! I hope it's okay they're already pipping at day 19, goodness! I was expecting that from Bantams, not standard chickens. (Though I do know Phoenixes and their eggs are on the smaller side, hmm)

Jasper has hatched! She did NOT want to wait. And we’ve got a pip from Birdsnest too! Impatient babies.

Peregrine has hatched! I’ll get pics of them in the morning when they’re all fluffed up and have gotten some good rest. YAY! 2/24 on day 19, wow!
